Here at Bottlepops we are all about celebrating life. Sharing laughs and smiles with family and friends and of course supporting our favourite sporting teams. It's our passion to continue to innovate and provide entertaining products for all occasions which encapsulates our day to day outlook for all to enjoy.
The popping story began in 2004 over a quiet beer in Japan while returning to Australia after competing in beach volleyball tournaments across Europe. It was at this smallish bar where our old slogan came from "Like every great idea it started with a beer". It was 100% a light bulb moment which turned into years of discussion followed by years of research and development to capture the ever growing Bottlepops vision.
Officially launched in late 2014, the Bottlepops team consists of passionate sports enthusiasts and combines a great mix of ex-elite athletes (who still think they are elite!) and highly credentialed businessmen. After a successful pitch on Channel 10's Shark Tank Australia (Season 1) in early 2015 we welcomed Andrew Banks to the Bottlepops family.
Two years after we landed a life-changing investment on Shark Tank, we took on another strategic investor – serial entrepreneur – Shane Yeend has stepped in to bring some major licensing and global retail partners on board to boost Bottlepops into the global market. This includes our deal with Marvel launching with Deadpool, Black Panther, Hulk, Captain America and more. In Australia and New Zealand we have inked deals with the AFL and All Blacks.
We have a close knit team who are all motivated by one of our youngest but yet strongest family members with Cystic Fibrosis. Her amazing daily spirit inspires us all. We are proud and driven in supporting the CF foundation to help find a cure.
